Psyopera is a darkly comic first-person monologue about one woman’s psychosis. From her living room, she fights a telepathic hunting game orchestrated by high-profile celebrities battling for dominion over her mind and body. Blending Buddhist, Gnostic, and mental illness themes, the story probes will, destiny, temptation, and autonomy with sharp humour and deep compassion.
A stark liminal set with pale curtains, drapery, and old fashioned kitsch furniture. A stark contrast to the techno feudal cyberpunk world of the internal drama.
