Maya X is a luminous, chart-topping pop star whose flawless public image hides her true nature: an apex predator who weaponizes belief itself. She is the modern embodiment of Maya; the ancient veil of illusion, a weaver who traps victims inside personalized webs of psychological horror loops. She doesn’t kill bodies. She locks psyches into eternal, self-reinforcing nightmares that continue long after death. Glamour is her lure. Terror is her loom and the world’s most pure-hearted leaders are her primary target
The Vision
Blur the boundary between seductive pop-star beauty and primal psychological dread.
Design a complete visual universe where every beautiful surface conceals an infinite trap.
Make the horror feel intimate, seductive, and inescapable; a psychological infection that viewers carry with them.
Use aesthetic as the storytelling engine: beauty that slowly unravels into eternal horror.
Aesthetic Direction & Rationale
Surreal folk-horror psychedelia drenched in blood-red, obsidian black, and radioactive glow. Embroidered masks with vibrant traditional textiles, crimson stone architecture floating in turquoise voids, solar eclipses, microscopic cellular patterns, agate-like organic swirls, glowing radioactive forms, and warped mid-century modern interiors. The look is hypnotic, intoxicating, and deeply unsettling, beauty as the ultimate psychological trap.
Aligning with films and TV like Mandy, Antichrist, Twin Peaks, Holy Mountain and Channel Zero
